This year has been a crazy, hectic ride for the Cake Devils, both personally and professionally. With so much going on, and only so many hours in the day, something had to fall to the waist side. Sadly, again, it was keeping up with social media, maintaining our website and posting photos of cakes that has gotten lost in the shuffle. I have so many great cakes to share with you and hope to get them up on the site in the next week or two!
As I get the photos up, I will be returning with the story behind the cakes! Who was the cake for? Where did it go? Why were they celebrating? Stay tuned to find out! :)
In addition to all the cakes on the camera that need to get loaded, we have a crazy weekend this weekend! I will be driving all day with cakes! My journey will begin in our kitchen in Orange County, NY and head to New Rochelle, NY to deliver a beautiful first birthday and smash cake for a very special little girl.
After delivering the birthday cake to Westchester, I will return to the kitchen to pick up an amazing bridal shower cake, in our Magical Mimosa cake flavor (perfect for a bridal shower!) and deliver that to Middletown, NY.
Last stop on that route is to Poughkeepsie! This cake is a surprise, so I won't say what it is just yet! :)
One more stop this weekend for another beautiful cake, in our popular Red Velvet and it's off to Jersey! This is a far one for us too! Northern Bergen County and even part of Passaic County are in our normal delivery area, but this one is heading to Middlesex!
Long day of driving coming up!
Back to cake decorating now! Time to go roll some fondant! I'll see you soon with some cake stories!
